Visually impaired lecturers go to court for reservation

New Delhi, Mar 26 (UNI) Few visually impaired lecturers today approached the Delhi High Court alleging that despite government directions colleges do not reserve any seats for physically challenged lecturers.

Pratap Singh Bhisht, secretary of 'Sambhavna', an NGO, has filed an affidavit in the court stating that some colleges were still not implementing the court order which had directed suitable reservations for the physically handicapped people in the government jobs.

Meanwhile, a bench comprising Justices T S Thakur and Siddhrth Mridul directed all the colleges to implement the court orders forthwith else face contempt action.
