SC reserves order in Sohrabuddin fake encounter case

New Delhi, Mar 26 (UNI) The Supreme Court today reserved its order on the bail applications of two senior police officers involved in the Sohrabuddin fake encounter case.

A Bench comprising Justice Arijit Pasayat, Justice P Sathasivam and Justice Aftab Alam reserved the verdict on the bail applications of former SP, Udaipur, Rajasthan Dinesh M N and Gujarat police DSP Narender Kumar Amin after the arguments were concluded.

The apex court indicated during the hearing that the entire evidence has to be appreciated in totality and the same cannot be appreciated in parts.

Eight police officers including former DIG, Gujarat police D G Vanjara are facing trial in the Sohrabuddin fake encounter case. His wife Kausar Bi is also not alive as per the statement of Gujarat police in the Supreme Court.
