Rs 225,000 cr plan for MMR development
Mumbai, Mar 26 (UNI) Maharashtra Minister of State for Urban Development Rajesh Tope today said a plan has been prepared with a huge investment of Rs 2,25,000 crore to develop the 4500 sq km area of the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR).
Replying to a question by Sanjay Dutt of Congress and others in the Maharashtra Legislative Council, Mr Tope said Lee consultancy has surveyed the region already.
This amount will be used to develop the infrastructure of Mumbai city, Thane and the other areas falling in MMR.
