Khanduri terms Pay Commission recommendations 'political stunt'
Dehra Dun, Mar 26 (UNI) Uttarakhand Chief Minister B C Khanduri today termed the recommendations of the Sixth Pay Commission as a "politically motivated stunt" and said an expert committee would be set up "very soon" to study its proposals.
Talking to mediapersons here, he said the expert committee would study the recommendations of the pay panel and suggest proper utilisation of funds allotted to the state.
He said the recommendations would be analysed in the context of how they stand to benefit the state's employees and keeping in view the government's resources.
Reiterating that the recommendations were a "political stunt", he said Central government was gearing itself towards the next general elections.
