Journalism award for Pushpendra Pal Singh
Bhopal, Mar 26 (UNI) Dr Pushpendra Pal Singh, Head, Department of Journalism, Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism&Communication, Bhopal, has been selected for the prestigious journalism award given in the memory of Himachal Pradesh's cooperative leader late Vedram Thakur, who is remembered for strengthening cooperative movement in his state.
In a statement issued here today, former Himachal Pradesh minister Thakur Satya Prakash said every year awards are distributed in the memory of his father in the fields of cooperative, literature and journalism.
Apart from Dr Singh, Punjab Today editor Pradeep Sharma would be honoured with the award at a function to be held in Kullu on April 21.
