Inquiry panel term extended

Hyderabad, Mar 26 (UNI) The Andhra Pradesh Government today extended the term of Justice V Bhaskara Rao Commission probing the incident leading to police firing immediately after the Mecca Masjid blasts on May 18 last year.

According to an official release here, the government extended the Commission's term for a period of two months till May six, 2008.

The government appointed Mr Justice Rao, a retired judge of Andhra Pradesh High Court, to probe the incident in which more than five people were killed and ten injured at Mecca Masjid.
