IIM-B Award for TATA Power's S Padmanabhan

Mumbai, Mar 26: The Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIM-B) Community has conferred the IIM-B Distinguished Alumnus Award to S Padmanabhan, Executive Director (Operations), Tata Power on the occasion of their Annual Convocation. The Award was presented yesterday for Mr Padmanabhan's valuable contributions towards the organisation and to the country.

Mr Padmanabhan joined Tata Power as Executive Director (Operations) in February, this year. He is responsible for all the Operations of the Company, including the Mumbai License Area business and also the Maharashtra Projects. Prior to this assignment, he was the Executive Director and Head Global Human Resources of Tata Consultancy Services Limited (TCS).

He has rich experience in large-scale project build-up and delivery, and is highly acclaimed for global sourcing and value creation in operational efficiencies, a TATA release said.
