Ex mill grade sugar steady

Navi Mumbai, Mar 26 (UNI) Ex mill grade sugar remained steady on scattered buying today in the wholesale sugar market, Bombay Sugar Merchants Association said.

Small grade declined by Rs 2 per quintal on lack of fresh demand while medium grade improved by Rs 5 per quintal due to better buying support.

Ex-mill small and medium grade remained unchanged, traders added.

Following are the spot wholesale rates per quintal: Small grade: Rs 1,501/1,545, Medium grade: Rs 1,535/1,625 Ex-mill Small grade: Rs 1,490/1,510 and Medium grade: Rs 1,520/1,560.
