Cong hands over memo to CDO under 'hisab mango abhiyan'

Pratapgarh, Mar 26 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh Congress Committee (UPCC) workers 'gheraoed' a Chief Development Officer (CDO) under ''Hisab Mango abhiyan'' here today.

UPCC took the step to protest the alleged misappropriation of funds sanctioned for the development purpose.

The gherao was done under the leadership of former Jaunpur MP Kamla Singh and addressed by former minister Ram Bahadur, UP Congress secretary Om Prakash Pandey, District Congress Committee president Mohammad Ishaq Khan and others.

Later, they handed over a memorandom to CDO.
