Bellary records maximum temperature of 32.7 deg celsius
Bangalore, Mar 26 (UNI) Following ia a summary of observations recorded by the weather office at 0830 hours today.
Rainfall occurred at a few places over North Interior Karnataka and at isolated places over Coastal Karnataka and South Interior Karnataka.
Chief rainfall amounts (cm): Karwar 5; Bellatti 4; Bevoor 3; Mani, Shirahatti, Madikeri 2 each; Navalgund, Nargund, Tavaregere, Badami, Kaladgi, Almatti, Gadag, Bellary, Chitradurga 1 each.
Maximum temperatures rose appreciably at many places over Coastal Karnataka and North Interior Karnataka and rose at a few places over South Interior Karnataka. They were markedly below normal at most places over North Interior Karnataka; appreciably below normal at most places being markedly so at a few places over South Interior Karnataka and below normal at most places over Coastal Karnataka.
Bellary recorded the highest maximum temperature of 32.7 degree Celsius over the State.
Minimum temperatures rose at a few places over Interior Karnataka and changed little over Coastal Karnataka. They were below normal at a few places over Interior Karnataka and remained normal over Coastal Karnataka.
Agumbe recorded the lowest minimum temperature of 18.2 degree Celsius over the State.
Forecast valid until Friday morning: Rain/thundershowers likely to occur at a few places over the State.
Farmers Weather Bulletin: Light to moderate rain likely to occur at a few places over all the districts of Coastal Karnataka, North Interior Karnataka and South Interior Karnataka.
