A three-member Cetral team evaluates SSA programme

Kakinada, Mar 26 (UNI) A three-member study team of the Central Planning Commission, headed by M Ramesh Chandra, today inspected some of the school buildings and records here, as part of evaluating implementation of the Sarva Siksha Abhiyan (SSA) programme.

The team had already inspected the construction of school buildings at Addateegala and Amalapuram areas during the last two days.

During their interaction with District Collector M Subrahmanyam, team leader Mr Chandra lauded the progress achieved and described East Godavari District as the role model for SSA implementation.

Mr Subrahmanyam apprised the team about several innovative programmes adopted by the district administration.
