Wild elephants kill one, injure another near Kaziranga

Guwahati, Mar 25 (UNI) One person was trampled to death and another injured by a herd of wild elephants in Kaziranga National Park (KNP) in Assam late last night.

Official sources said the two persons were camping in their fields, guarding the crops, when the elephants attacked the make-shift camp.

The area comes under the central range of the KNP in Golaghat district.

One Tulshi Gogoi was killed and Buda Ganju injured in the attack.
