Zardari, Sharif to skip oath ceremony

New Delhi, March 25th 2008: Pakistan's new Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gillani will be sworn in on March 25 by President Pervez Musharraf.

However, top leaders including co chairman of the Pakistan People's Party, PPP Asif Ali Zardari, his son Bilawal and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz Chief Nawaz Sharif will not attend the ceremony. The leaders clarified that they were not boycotting the Prime Minister's oath taking ceremony.
