Record breaking sushi in Mumbai

Mumbai, March 21, 2008 : Students of Institute of Hotel Management, Dadar, created a new Guinness world record by making the world's largest Sushi mosaic in Mumbai on March 17.

A group of 20 students made the 15.16 square meters Sushi consisting of 5,814 sushi pieces. Chef Vernon Coelho, who supervised the team's effort, was elated at the spirit of teamwork displayed by students assigned with the job.The previous record for the world's 'largest Sushi mosaic' was made by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants in Poland and it measured 14.84 square metres.
