Indian Railways to set up cinema halls at stations
New Delhi, March 22, 2008: After earning a profit of 20,000 crore over the period of 2006 – 07, which is much beyond expectations.
The Lalu Prasad Yadav led Indian Railway brigade is now planning to extend its public-private-partnership (PPP) to the entertainment business. The public sector behemoth has chalked out an ambitious plan to set up about a dozen cinema halls at various railway stations in metros.
