Dalai Lama begins meditation camp amidst protests

New Delhi/ Dharamshala, March 22, 2008 : While Tibetan protestors continue to take to the streets protesting against Chinese suppression, their spiritual leader, Dalai Lama, takes part in a weeklong meditation camp starting from March 22 in India's national capital New Delhi.

On the other hand, in northern Dharamsala, Indian supporters from different local organizations under the banner of Himalayan Parivar held a peace March in support of the Tibetan leader.
