CD VCD sales of folk songs peak

Rajasthan, March 22, 2008 : People in Rajasthan, on Holi, are busy buying and collecting CDs and VCDs of traditional folk songs. According to them, no celebration is complete sans the musical beats.

Interestingly, it has proved to be a goldmine for over two dozens of mini recording units. The markets of Rajasthan are flooded with the arrival of hundreds of latest volumes of audio and video CDs.
