Vice President releases book on hostage crisis

New Delhi, Mar 25 (UNI) Vice President M Hamid Ansari released a book ''Anatomy of Abduction'' at a function here today.

The book has been authored by senior journalist V Sudarshan.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr Ansari said the book could be read as a thriller, or an exercise to investigative reporting or as a serious commentary on the Government's crisis management and negotiating skills.

He expressed the hope that more such books would come out in future and congratulated Mr Sudarshan, who is the Associate Editor of The New Indian Express, for his remarkable book.

Mr Ansari said the author has presented a complete overview of the Government of India's crisis management in handling the abduction crisis.

Minister of State for External Affairs E Ahamed also addressed the gathering.
