Uttar Pradesh gets second assistance under PMGSY
New Delhi, Mar 25 (UNI) The Ministry of Rural Development has granted Rs 138.15 crore to the Uttar Pradesh government under Tranche-II of World Bank Assisted Projects of the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY) during the current financial year.
This amount would be given to the Uttar Pradesh Grameen Sadak Vikas Abhikaran, an autonomous agency for receiving funds for the programmes under the scheme.
The grant is towards plan expenditure and will be subject to the conditions laid down from time to time in the guidelines of the PMGSY.
