UBI ties-up with Alankrit for TIN facilitaion

Mumbai, Mar 25 (UNI) State-run Union Bank of India and Alankrit Assignment, a financial service provider, have entered into a strategic partnership for providing tax information network (TIN) facilitation services to customers.

Alankrit, a leading financial services provider company and authorised franchisee of NSDL, will facilitate the issuance of PAN/TAN, acceptance of TDS, TCS and Paper Returns both in physical and electronic form to customers of Union Bank of India and general public through a wide network of Bank's Branches, this was announced at a joint press conference here today.

Through this service of the Bank, a large number of people will be benefited who face difficulty in interacting with Income Tax Office for their PAN issuance and other requirements. A large number of demat account holders, whose demat accounts have been frozen by their depositories for non-compliance of mandatory PAN requirement will also get benefit from this value added service of Union Bank of India, the Bank said.
