Rich tributes paid to late Ganesh Shankar Vidyarthi
Kanpur, Mar 25 (UNI) Rich tributes were paid to Journalist and freedom fighter Ganesh Shankar Vidyarthi on his 77th death anniversary here today.
Makhan Lal Chaturvedi National University, Journalism and Communication, Bhopal, organised a seminar on Vidyarthi at Balbhawan.
University Vice Chancellor Achchutanand Mishra said the varsity organised the event to pay rich tributes to the veteran journalist and freedom fighter, who played a novel role in freedom struggle.
Editor of Hindi Magazine 'Navneet', Vishwanath Sachdev noted his contribution in the freedom struggle could not be ignored and budding journalists ought to take a lesson from him.
Separate functions were also organised at Kanpur Press Club, Meston road and Moti Jheel.
