HSBC India launches HSBC Platinum Card

Chennai, Mar 25 (UNI) HSBC India has launched the HSBC Platinum Card targeted at the affluent people with relatively high disposable income.

Positioned on the 'Never Settle for Less' platform, the HSBC Platinum card targetted customers, who do not compromise on their travel, lifestyle or health requirements, were both value-conscious and brand-conscious and seek the best in every aspect of life, a company release here said today.

The HSBC Platinum Card offered a range of privileges, ranging from the welcome gift that a customer could get (a Mont Blanc Pen or 5,000 reward points), to an attractive rewards programme that helped cardholders earn points faster. The card also provided unique options to redeem these points.

Customers could also get travel benefits such as experiential packages like a chance to drive a F1 car or have an Antarctica experience, the release said.

HSBC had tied up with premium brands in the travel category, wherein cardholders could avail some fabulous offers such as 50 per cent discounts on Business Class tickets, free gifts on international air travel, special packages on room rates and discounts on car rentals.

HSBC also offered a special interest rate of 2.75 per cent per month (33 per cent per annum) on its Platinum Credit Card, one of the lowest among platinum cards, the release said.

The annual fee of the card was Rs 3,999 and the joining fee was Rs 1,999, it added.
