High speed rail link between airport and city
Bangalore, Mar 25 (UNI) Karnataka Infrastructure Principal Secretary V P Baligar today said the newly formed Bangalore Airport Rail Link Network (BARLN) would commission its work in December to provide a high- speed rail link.
Talking to newspersons here, he said the project would provide high speed connectivity between the Bangalore International Airport and the city, and would be completed in the next four years.
He said work on the six other roads, including the Trumpet Interchange to provide the connectivity to the airport, was also under completion and would be ready before the opening of the airport in May.
The estimation of the time for travelling between the airport and the city by these roads would be about half an hour, he said.
