Fire destroys property worth Rs several thousands
Kanpur, Mar 25 (UNI) Property worth Rupees several thousands was destroyed in a fire incident that occured at an electronic waste godown in Saket Nagar area of the industrial city late last night, police said today.
No casualty has been reported, police said.
Fire tenders from Fazalganj and Meerpur fire stations were pressed into service, who took nearly two-hours to extinguish the flames.
The reason behind the blaze was yet to be ascertained, police said.
