Dinesh Beedi to foray into garment production

Kannur, Mar 25 (UNI) Kerala Dinesh Beedi, a leading beedi manufacturing cooperative society here, make a foray into garment production as part of its diversification programme, Chairman C Rajan said today.

Talking to newsperons here, he said Kerala Industries Minister Elamaram Kareeem would formally launch the new products-- 'Gem jack' and 'Dinesh duke' at a function here tomorrow.

In the first phase, the new products would be marketed only in Kannur, Kozhikode and Kasargode districts in the state and later throughout the state.
