Bhajan Lal disqualified as MLA under anti-defection law

Chandigarh, Mar 25 (UNI) Former Haryana Chief Minister Bhajan Lal who was elected as an MLA on Congress ticket, was today disqualified under the anti-defection law for floating a new political party.

Speaker Raghuvir Singh Kadian told reporters that Mr Bhajan Lal, who had launched Haryana Janhit Congress (BL) in a rally at Rohtak on December 2, had been disqualified for leaving his party and launching a new political outfit.
