Axis Bank opens new branch in MP
Vidisha, MP, Mar 25 (UNI) Axis Bank today opened a new branch here in the vicinity of the world heritage site Sanchi.
''This is another step towards the extensive consumer-banking focus that we are providing across the country and reinforces our commitment to bring superior banking services, marked by convenience and closeness to customers,'' Bank President S K Nandi said while inaugurating the branch.
Axis Bank has a network of 644 branches, 20 extension counters and 2,709 automated teller machines across the country. The branches, spread across more than 401 cities and towns, enable the Bank to reach out to a large cross-section of customers with an array of products and services catering to both the retail and corporate segments.
The Bank has a customer base of 90 lakh and provides payroll services to over 12,000 corporates across 28 lakh salary accounts.
