242 development projects in Raj to be in motion from May 1
Jaipur, Mar 25 (UNI) The administrative and financial procedure for implementation of 242 development projects and programmes announced in Rajasthan state budget 2008-2009, involving an investment of over Rs 1,800 crore, will begin by May 1.
The implementation of the above projects will provide employment avenues to around 29,000 people in various government departments and recruitment process for the same will also start from May.
The decision to this effect was taken at the state cabinet meeting held here this evening. Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje discussed with her cabinet colleagues various aspects for implementation of the above projects.
She said all departments were required to ensure timely action for time bound implementation of the projects and programmes announced by her in the budget.
