Valmiki community ''neglected'' by Cong
Indore, Mar 24 (UNI) The Akhil Bharatiya Safai Karmachari Adhikar Panchayat's Madhya Pradesh Executive President Mahesh Gauhar today alleged that the most-backward Valmiki community had been neglected while forming the Congress' state Executive.
''My community, which has about 18 lakh people in this state, has sided with the Congress from the time of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. In protest against not finding representation in the Executive, memoranda will be submitted at the feet of Mahatma Gandhi's statues across Madhya Pradesh. A letter will also be sent to Congress President Sonia Gandhi,'' he said in a release issued here.
