Three die in accident, saint Bapu unhurt

Vapi (Gujarat), Mar 24 (UNI) Three people, including a local Congress leader, were died on the spot, when their Maruti Esteem was hit by a speeding truck near Desan Patia on the Bharuch-Karjan national highway today.

However, noted saint Bhikharam Bapu, who runs Tulsi Van Ashram near Surat city, was unhurt in the accident, police sources said.

The deceased were identified as Mahant Hansha Bhaiya (45), local Congress leader Sureshbhai Surabhi (49), and driver Amit (25).

Police have registered a case of accident.
