Siddaramaiah urges backward class to launch mass movement

Bangalore, Mar 24 (UNI) Former Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister Siddaramaiah today urged the people belonging to backward classes to launch a mass movement to fight for their rights.

Addressing a seminar on 'Towards a Casteless Juciciary' here today he said unless the people from the lower strata of society were provided with social justice there could not be all-round development in the society.

The seminar was conducted by Lawyers' Association for social justice on the occasion of birth anniversary celebrations of late L G Havanur, who championed the cause of the backward classes in the state.
