Rupee inches up to 40.375/385

Mumbai, Mar 24: The Rupee today inched higher at 40.375/385 against US Dollar from its previous close of 40.43/44 per Dollar following the positive note in the local equity market.

The Indian unit gained against greenback in early deals on hopes the local stock market would track the rise of other Asian markets, dealers said. The currency market was shut on Thursday and Friday for public holidays.
