Inclement weather delays departure of flights at Chennai airport

Chennai, Mar 24 (UNI) Departure of several flights from the airport here were delayed due to inclement weather conditions.

Official sources said the departure of Chennai-Singapore flight was delayed. The flight departed at 1415 hrs instead of the scheduled time 1135 hrs.

Similarly, the Chennai-Madurai Paramount flight departed at 1400 hrs instead of 1245 hrs. The Chennai-Thiruvananthapuram Air Deccan flight departed at 1420 hrs instead of 1300 hrs.

The Chennai-Madurai Indian flight took off at 1240 hrs instead of 1200 hrs.

However, the incoming flights did not face any problem, sources added.
