Former Corporator and supporters join BJP

Mysore, Mar 24 (UNI) Former Corporator and a Congress leader along with six hundred supporters today joined the BJP in the presence of former minister K S Eswarappa.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr Eswarappa said earlier BJP was branded as 'brahmin party' and later accused as 'Lingayats', but now the wrong notion had been erased from the minds of people from all walks of life, preferring to join BJP.

With large number of Congress leaders switching over to the BJP, it would boost the morale of the party and win the confidence of the electorate in the city, he added.
