Fire breaks out in the Income Tax building

New Delhi, Mar 24: A minor fire broke out in the Income Tax office building here this morning, a fire department official said. The blaze, which was reported at 1100 hrs in the building at ITO, started in the record and electronic appliances room on the second floor. "It was controlled within ten minutes by about five fire tenders," he added. The damage to records is being assessed. Cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.
