Environment study made compulsory in AP varsities

Hyderabad, Mar 24 (UNI) The study of environment has been made a compulsory subject in all the 14 universities in Andhra Pradesh as per the Supreme Court order, Higher Education Minister D Srinivas informed the State Assembly today.

In his written reply to Congress member D Manikya Varaprasada Rao, he denied that the subject was being taught by unqualified persons in several colleges.
