CLP asks leaders not to raise party issues in media
Chandigarh, Mar 24 (UNI) The Congress Legislature Party today unanimously resolved to direct all its members and senior Congress leaders to refrain from airing their differences of opinion in the media.
The meeting of the CLP, held at the residence of Leader of the Opposition Rajinder Kaur Bhattal, resolved that all matters and issues should be discussed at the Party forum or platform instead of airing the same in Press.
Members were unanimous that such statements created confusion amongst the party rank and file and were harmful for its interests of the Party in the coming Lok Sabha elections.
The routine CLP meeting, held before the Session, was attended by all legislators except Sukhwinder Singh Sarkaria, Rana Sukhbans Kaur and Capt Amarinder Singh, Raj Pal Singh, General Secretary, media, of the Punjab Congress said.
