BJP declines to comment on Pay Commission recommendations
New Delhi, Mar 24 (UNI) The BJP today declined to react regarding the submission of the Pay Commission recommendations headed by Justice B M Srikrishna and said it would give its formal comments only after the Cabinet accepted the recommendations.
Asked for his comments on the submission of its recommendations, BJP spokesman Rajiv Pratap Rudy said the party will comment after the Cabinet accepted the recommendations.
The Pay Commission today commended a hefty salary hike for 40 lakh million Central Government employees costing Rs 12,561 crore to the exchequer in 2008-09.
