BEML pays interim dividend of 55%
New Delhi, Mar 24 (UNI) Bharat Earth Movers Limited (BEML), a Defence PSU has declared an interim dividend of 55 per cent for the financial year 2007-08.
The company's CMD V R S Natarajan presented a cheque of Rs 12,37,50,000 to the Defence Minister A K Antony today as an interim dividend for 54 per cent of company's share held by the Government of India.
The company is set to achieve beyond its MoU sales target of Rs 2765 crore for FY 2007-08 and the order book position is expected to cross Rs 4000 crore by the end of current accounting year.
Last year, BEML had paid 40 per cent interim dividend for an amount of Rs 9 crore for 61.2 per cent of company's shares held by the government.
