Advani gifts his memoir to Bal Thackeray

Mumbai, Mar 24: Former Deputy Prime Minister L K Advani today gifted a copy of his memoir 'My country, My life' to Shiv Sena chief Bal Thackeray at his residence here.

Mr Advani who was in the city on the occasion of unveiling of statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji spent nearly 45 minutes with Mr Thackeray, former Speaker Manohar Joshi and BJP leader Vinod Tawade. During their meeting Mr Thackeray told Mr Advani that he wanted to see him as the Prime Minister of the country. He also lamented about the present Central Government's inept handling of the extrnal affairs, particularly against the backdrop of China staking claim over Arunachal Pradesh.
