ACB sleuths raid RT office in Tirupati

Hyderabad, Mar 24 (UNI) The sleuths of Anti-Corruption Bureau conducted a surprise raid at the Regional Transport (RT) office in Tirupati, and seized unaccounted cash totalling Rs 1,54,820 from the office premises.

The team seized an amount of Rs 1,27,000 from the possession of private persons, who were engaged as agents, while an unaccounted cash of Rs 17,800 was recovered from the office premises.

An excess cash of Rs 10,020 was seized from the files of Junior Assistant Usha Rani, a press release here said.

Several relevant records were also seized for further inquiry.
