Special tourist train in April 2008

Kannur, Mar 23: A special tourist train, the first such from Kerala, will depart from here next month, covering various tourist destinations across the country. Leaving here on April two, the special train will cover New Delhi,Chandigarh, Kalka, Shimla, Jhansi and Hyderabad where the travellers could visit different tourist spots. The reservation capacity was fixed at 864 tourists. The fare was Rs 6,900 per head, including food and accommodation, according to Gangan Vaikalassery of Keyees Tours and Travels which was arranging the tour. The train will return to Kannur on April 12.
