Prohibitory orders at Aland town extended
Bangalore, Mar 23 (UNI) Prohibitory orders imposed in Aland town in Gulbarga District under Section 144 CrPC following a communal clash have been extended till tomorrow.
Official sources said the trouble began when a section of Holi revelers smeared colours on the walls of a place of worship here yesterday.
In opposition to the act, a group pelted stones at vehicles and torched a bus belonging to the State Transport Corporation.
However, the situation was brought under control by the timely intervention of police.
At least 21 people were arrested and remanded in judicial custody in connection with the incident.
