Militants slaughter one in Kashmir
Srinagar, Mar 23 (UNI) In a gruesome incident, unidentified armed men slaughtered a villager in the frontier district of Kupwara in north Kashmir, official sources said today.
They said the armed men entered a house and kidnapped the 40-year -old owner Abdul Majid Piswal at Shrat Kuligam late last night.
Despite pleas by other family members, Piswal was taken to nearby forest where he was killed by slitting his throat.
Police said Over Ground Worker (OGW) of a militant outfit Muhammad Ishaq Mir was arrested along with one hand grenade at Pulwama.
