Man burnt alive; 3 policemen suspended

Mainpuri, Mar 23 (UNI) A man was burnt alive after he shot dead his friend in Bhogaon area here this afternoon.

Kishan Lal alias Cheeni (35) and his friend Balram (30) were consuming liquor, when they had a heated argument over some issue.

Blistering with a violent impulse, Kishanlal released trigger on Balram, who succumed on the spot.

Later, Balram's family burnt Kishanlal alive by torching his house, police said.

Three policemen, including a sub-inspector, had been suspended on charges of dereliction of duty following the unfateful incident.

Police had been garrisoned in the area as a precautionary measure.
