Holidays boost business in multiplexes, theatres

Ahmedabad, Mar 23 (UNI) Multiplex theatres and hotels in the city have registered a whopping 80 per cent rise in business during the four days of festivities marking Id-E-Milad, Navroz, Good Friday and Holi.

Academic institutions and government and semi-government establishments had holidays from Thursday to Sunday and this fueled the demand for cinema tickets as well as hotel services.
