Army recovers three live bombs
Cooch Behar, Mar 23 (UNI) The Army today recovered three bombs with timer from under a municipailty dumping ground at Mathabhanga sub-divison here.
Cooch Behar Sub Divisional Police Officer Anand Ray told UNI that the Binnaguri Army Bomb Squad from Jalpaiguri district on a tip off rushed to the spot and recovered the bombs.
''We had no information about it. The Army had the information,'' Mr Ray said.
He also informed that the area was earlier the hideout of banned outfit KLO and suspected that some of its cadres might have planted the bombs there.
