4 feared drowned in Ganga

Patna, Mar 23 (UNI) Four people were feared drowned when a countrymade boat capsized midstream in the Ganga near here today.

Police said the mishap occurred when the boat carrying several passengers, was caught in midsteram current and capsized.

While most of the passengers swam to safety,four washed away in strong current. Later two bodies were fished out from down stream of the river.

Meanwhile, a search operation had been launched to trace the other two missing, police added.
