3 killed, 2 injured in tanker-car collision
Kochi, Mar 23 (UNI) Three people were killed and two sustained injuries in a tanker-car collision at Ambattukavu near Aluva in Ernakulam district.
Police said, the mishap occurred when the tanker lorry losing control ran over a pedestrian and collided with the car, which was on its way to Kochi.
The deceased were identified as Bismi (11), car driver Shanmughan (45) and pedestrian Haroon (40). Bismi's parents Mohanan and Bindu Mohanan sustained serious injuries.
