Minor succumbs to injuries after clashes

Barrackpore, Mar 22: A 14-year-old boy of Vidyasagar colony under Naihati police station in North 24 Parganas today succumbed to his injuries at N R S Medical College and Hospital following clashes which occurred here yesterday.

Police said Indrajit Sarkar was referred to the city hospital from the Naihati State General Hospital where he was rushed along with five others injured after clashes at Dogachhia village in connection with the Dolyatra that was celebrated yesterday.

The culprit allegedly used sharp weapons, police said, adding investigation was underway. No one was arrested in this connection so far.
